The Vision

Taking from Luke 4:16-19, we want this building to be a place where we uplift the poor and proclaim liberty, sight, and God’s good news and favour to our surrounding community. 

Immediate goal

Completing the Renovation of 82 Church Street

82 Church Street is more than a building project – it’s about creating space for the life of our church to grow. This space will allow us to gather for prayer, share meals together, invest in our youth, and offer hospitality through the café to both our VCC family and our Food Bank guests.

We’re moving forward primarily with volunteer labour, trusting God’s provision and the generosity of our community as we work toward a Spring 2026 completion.

Auditorium Construction Project

We saw good initial progress in the initial stage of the auditorium construction and then factors beyond our control including the early onset of winter resulted in us pressing “pause” on the outside construction. We plan to restart in 2026 as finances allow.
